Magazine ArticleMarch 15, 2011
Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine just came out with an article on Parkour in their March 2011 issue. While no info about Wake Forest Parkour was included, some pictures of Stephen (and Jo’s hands, haha) did make their way into the article!
The article brings up some of the debate over Parkour competitions, like the MTV challenge, and also gives some info about the new show, Jump Seattle. Check out the online version here.
Beginner Class VerdictMarch 11, 2011
The Beginner Class was amazing. 8 people participated and got introduced to Quadrupedal Movements, Vaults, Rolling, Jumping, and the Foam Pit! Though it seems everyone enjoyed the foam pit the most, the QM’s had a more “lasting” impact. Brian posted some pictures, and we added them to our page on facebook for everyone to see.
Thank you to everyone who came out! We are planning another Beginner class–perhaps sometime next month. We’ll let you know.
